Anthologie offers product photography that drives sales
Bringing a new product to market is an exhilarating prospect, but one that can also leave business owners with fits of anxiety wondering how their new offering will be received. Don’t leave your brand image to chance. In an era of high-quality cameras in just about every pocket, product photography is one marketing asset that should still be handled by a professional. The images you share impact your perceived brand value — an opinion it takes your online viewers less than a second to create.
E-Commerce and Product Photography FAQ
What is the difference between e-commerce and product photography?
The terms can be used interchangeably, however, e-commerce often refers to photos made specifically for an online storefront where pictures are created on a transparent or solid white background providing clear and impactful sales imagery. However, product photography can also be used to describe photos made in a more lifestyle situation, meaning models are photographed using or wearing your product, but the product itself is still the focus of the image. I can provide your business with either option.
How do I get my product to you?
The majority of products I photograph are made to be shipped to the end user, meaning it’s just as easy to send them to my studio. This is a great option if you’re not based in the Twin Cities. If you’re worried your product is too large don’t hesitate to contact me to see what solutions I would be able to provide.
Can’t I just do this myself?
With AI-generated images and the ubiquitous nature of smart phones promising to provide product photography with a few clicks, it can be tempting to tackle these projects on your own. However, these options still fall short of the quality created by a professional product photographer. In addition, specific angles or features you wish to highlight may not always be possible with the lenses featured on most smart phones or through AI prompts. White, transparent or highly reflective products can also be very problematic for a novice photographer to create consistent brand images.
What types of products do you photograph?
I have worked extensively with children’s products and within the health and wellness market. However, I often photograph 2-D and 3-D artwork, textiles, metal fabrication as well as food and beverage items. You may view more of my work in this area in my product portfolio.
